Cytrus was recently asked to speak about one of our projects at the Tech Demo Africa event in conjunction with Mobile Monday. The event was held at the Radison Blue in Johannesburg on 17 April 2012. Always interested to showcase our work we jumped at the opportunity – the only problem… which of our many exciting projects should we showcase?

We decided to present a project that was relevant to all South Africans and represented a cause we truly believe in – the SHOUT application. With a weekend to prepare myself and Grant knuckled down to put together a presentation that would give the delegates a good taste of the application. This is what we came up with SHOUT App Presentation by Cytrus.

A quick flight to Johannesburg on the morning of the presentation and we were good to go. With the exception of a minor glitch with the sound which meant we couldn’t play our video it all went according to plan. The event was great and we were able to enjoy a few drinks and meet some great people afterwards, all in all a great success!
